Obituary for Raymond D. Temple
RAYMOND D. TEMPLE, 78, of rural Morrison, IL, died Saturday, February 11, 2012 at his home. Raymond was born on February 1, 1934, in Garden Plain, IL, to Dewey E. and Helen (Blink) Temple. He was educated at the Crouch Grade School of rural Fulton, IL, and graduated from Fulton High School. He married Louise K. Adams on May 5, 1956, in Prophetstown, IL. Raymond engaged in farming in the rural Morrison area until his retirement in 2009. Farming was his pride and joy. Survivors include his wife, Louise; two daughters, Glenda (Glenn) Pittluck of Crystal Lake, IL and Nancy (Mike Cavey) Temple, D.V.M. of Paris, KY; two ksons, Craig (Mary) Temple of Clinton, IA and Curt (Lori) Temple of Fulton, IL; six grandchildren, Mark (Amber) Temple, Michael Temple, Will Pittluck, Erika (Brandon) Bender, Michelle (James) Nackers, Alexis Temple; two step grandchildren, Bradley and Matthew Deck; three great grandchildren, Claire Temple, Gabriel Nackers, Carson Bender; three sisters, Gertrude Voss of Clinton, IA, Helene Brockett of Aledo, IL and Dolores (Kenneth) Fritz of Morrison, IL; one brother, Isaac (Mary) Temple of Morrison, IL; one sister-in-law, Lavece Temple of Thomson, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Glen, in infancy; three brothers, Alfred, Allen and Eugene Temple; two brothers-in-law, James Voss and Richard Brockett; one sister-in-law, Retta Temple.
