Obituary for Roger "Mod" Graham
Roger “Mod” Graham, 70, of Fulton, IL, died on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at the Alverno Healthcare Facility in CIinton, IA.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM on Monday, March 22, 2021 at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. Cremation rites will be accorded following the visitation. Interment will be at Lusk Memorial Cemetery in Albany, IL at a later date. A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society.
Roger was born on January 5, 1951 in Rockford, IL, to Ronald M. and Betty R. (Stutler) Graham, Sr. Roger was educated in the Fulton Schools. He married Mary A. (Handy) Bousselout in February 23, 1974 in Fulton, IL. They were later divorced. Roger worked at Harbor Crest Nursing Home in Fulton, IL. He later worked at Timken Drives, Allied Steel and Markman Peat. Roger loved fishing and listening to music. He enjoyed hunting for morel mushrooms. He loved spending time at Johnnies Tap playing the slot machines and socializing.
Survivors include his daughter, Angela (Mike) Pyron of Bettendorf, IA; three grandchildren, Steven, Samantha and Anna MacLennan; four sisters, Gloria (Albert) Wiebenga, Alice (David) Roman and Valerie Graham all of Fulton, IL, and Mary (Mark) Whitney of Albany, IL; three brothers, Ronald (Sharon) Graham of East Moline, IL, Freeman Graham of Henry, IL and George (Mary) Graham of Albany, IL; many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Joshua David Graham; one granddaughter, Ashley MacLennan; one sister, Violet Graham: three brothers, Donald, Howard and Jerry Graham and one nephew, Israel Housenga.
