Obituary for Sherri S. Heusinkveld
SHERRI S. HEUSINKVELD, 80, of Fulton, IL, died Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Select Specialty Hospital in Davenport, IA.
Her memorial service will take place at 11:30 AM on Friday, January 21, 2022, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home with Rev. Catherine Martin, current pastor of the Fulton Presbyterian Church officiating. The visitation will precede the service starting at 10:00 AM until the start of the funeral. Cremation rites have been accorded. Interment will be at Fulton Township Cemetery, Fulton, IL. A memorial has been established.
Sherri was born September 26, 1941, in Clinton, IA, to Kenneth C. and Dorothy L. (Britt) Rupert. She attended Fulton grade schools and was a 1959 graduate of Fulton High School. Sherri worked at Neilson Clearing House in Clinton for 17 years. She later worked at Agri King for 40 plus years as a receptionist and was an Avon sales representative. She was a former member of the Futon Presbyterian Church and was a church youth group leader. She played in the church softball league and loved bowling. She also coached girls softball and junior bowling. She liked knitting, crocheting, playing solitaire and doing crosswords. Sherri cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren, Alicea Huizenga and Breann Michaelsen and her great-grandchildren, Addison, Coltin, Rylan and Grayson.
Survivors include two daughters, Beth Heusinkveld and Lori (Darren Anglese) Michaelsen, both of Fulton; two grandchildren, Alicea (Cole Atkinson) Huizenga and Breann Michaelsen; one step-granddaughter, Kayla (Quinn) Wilkin; great-grandchildren, Addison, Coltin, Rylan and Grayson; step-great-grandchildren, Hazel and Shea Wilkin; one sister, Mrs. Marlee Parker of Hartwick, IA; many nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandmother, Rose Britt; one brother-in-law, Jerry Parker; one nephew, Derik Parker.
