Obituary for Thelma L. Bos
THELMA L. BOS, 83, of Mercy Living Center South Harmony House, Clinton, IA, died Friday, August 16, 2013, at Harmony House. Thelma was born February 1, 1930, in Fulton, IL, to Dennis and Helen (Decker) Foster. She was educated in the Fulton Grade Schools in Fulton, IL. Thelma married William Bos in April 1949, in Clinton, IA. He died October 13, 1997. She was employed by General Electric in Morrison, IL, until moving to California. Thelma was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary and served as State Madam President in 2004-2005. She enjoyed painting, sewing, and doing various crafts. Survivors include one sister, Kay (Dave) Lawton of Thomson, IL; two brothers, Arthur (Lois) Foster of Clinton, IA and Richard (Barb) Foster of Rockford, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill; her son, Randy Bos; two sisters, Eleanor Cooper and Loretta Gibbs; and one brother, Vernon Foster.
