Obituary for Timothy Sikkema
TIMOTHY D. SIKKEMA, 49, of Fulton, IL, died Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf, IA.
There will be a memorial visitation from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Monday, January 22, 2018, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. Cremation rites have been accorded and a private graveside service will be held at Fulton Township Cemetery with Rev. Kevin VerHoeven, pastor of Bethel Christian Reformed Church officiating. A memorial has been established by the family.
Tim was born February 17, 1968, in Clinton, IA, to Leonard and Viola (Huizenga) Sikkema. He was educated in the Fulton grade schools and was a graduate of Fulton High School. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, IA. Tim married Stacy Evers on June 19, 2004, in Clinton, IA. He was employed by Sethness Products in Clinton, IA. Tim enjoyed fishing, but his greatest joy was attending Kamryn’s school and sporting events.
Survivors include his wife, Stacy; one daughter, Kamryn Sikkema at home; his mother and father, Viola and Lenny Sikkema of Fulton, IL; one sister, Christine (Tim) McCann of Parkview, IA; one brother, Steve (Stacey) Sikkema of Fulton, IL; and two nephews, Seth and Stanton Sikkema.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
